Algorithm

An organism capable of generating its own heat
will still move in the direction of warmth
when it gets cold.

Coffee. Campfire. Conversation.

A process of natural selections
fueled by differences of degrees.

Hands. Arms. Bodies.

An icy heart will seek the heat of story,
and even a dicey start will not necessarily kill hope.

Ask a preacher.
Ask a nurse.

Ask yourself, 
if even a botched plot can come to a boil,
whether talking about the weather 
brings more comfort,
at times,
than not speaking at all.
